with real fishermen
Take part in a
lobster or rock crab
Or come fish for
or striped bass!
- Fishing tourism takes place regardless of the weather, within reason. The wind must not be stronger than 20 to 28 km/hr and the waves must not be higher than 2 to 3 feet (≈ 1 m), equal to a Force 4 wind on the Beaufort scale.
- It’s up to the captain to decide whether the fishing tourism excursion will take place or if it needs to be cancelled because he feels inclement weather, strong winds or rough seas would keep participants from enjoying the activity.
- If the outing is cancelled, depending on availability, it can be postponed to the next day or the fees can be refunded if no other outing is possible.
- No refunds will be given to passengers who are barred from taking part in the fishing tourism trip because the captain considers their behaviour to be unsafe or if they have consumed alcohol or drugs.
