Fishers form father to son
Sylvain Arsenault is passionate about the sea and his trade. He’s been fishing for over 25 years. Louis-Philippe, his son, is fishing with him since the age of 16. Obviously fishing is still a family tradition!
Are you ready to set out for a fishing trip at sea? Join Captain Sylvain Arsenault and his deck hand, Louis-Philippe, to experience a day in the life of an inshore fisher.
From early April to late September, the crew of the L’Omirlou fish commercially for several different species, including herring, mackerel, rock crab and lobster. The crew also offer halibut and mackerel recreationnal fishing in addition to providing room and board to their excursionnists.
